Our One-Day Southern Valley Tour in Cusco
Our one-day excursion through the Southern Valley of Cusco is an experience you won’t want to miss! This tour lasts approximately 5 hours and takes you to the southern part of Cusco, home to remarkable archaeological sites such as Tipón and Pikillaqta.
Our private transport will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. for a scenic 40-minute drive southwest to Tipón, an Inca site renowned for its agricultural terraces, advanced irrigation system, and impressive architecture, forming part of the ancient Qhapaq Ñan route. We will then continue to Pikillaqta, one of the most important and well-preserved pre-Inca cities in Peru. Finally, we will visit Andahuaylillas, home to the Sistine Chapel of America, a UNESCO-listed monument famous for its breathtaking colonial artwork.
The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Cusco at approximately 1:00 p.m.
